BumpDate - 33-35 weeks

Me and my crazy friends
Hubby and his crazy friends

How far along? 34 weeks, 5 days (so almost 35 weeks)

Size? According to my what to expect baby app
baby is the about the size of a large cantaloupe (19 - 21in, 5.5lbs).

Weight gain/loss? At my doctor's appointment, I weighed in at 157.5. This is a 1 lb gain for two weeks  (yay!!!) Although I think my doc would be happy with 1 lb a week, I think that 1 lb was good. It is just hard for me to gain weight. So, I think I've gained a total of 12 to 15 pounds thus far for this pregnancy.

Maternity Clothes? same old same. My closet and clothes that fit and are comfortable are getting smaller and smaller.

Stretch Marks? None so far. Using bio-oil now in efforts to prevent any hopefully.

Wedding Rings on or off? On.

Sleep? Sleeping soundly. Hubby had been under the weather and was waking me up in the middle of the night (guess he was getting me geared up for baby lol) Hips STILL kill and flip from left to right throughout the night, but pretty much wake up feeling refreshed for the most part.

Best Moment of the Week(s)?
1. My hubby, family and friends planned a surprise baby shower for me. It was awesome. I feel reallllllly blessed.

Miss anything?  would it be bad to say margaritas and wine again. No? okay a nice frozen margarita...with salt.

Food Cravings/Aversions? lately it has been veggies and fruit.

Gender? It's a BOY!!!!!! Tucker Louis Thompson (aka Little Tuck Tuck)

Happy or moody most? Happy with a wee bit of Moody mixed in there.

Labor signs? None. Although I have had what think is Braxton hicks contractions a couple times in the middle of the night.

Belly button in or out? Partial In and Partially out

Looking forward to? Our last baby shower at hubby's job. Also, to a trip to Galveston, just me and hubby.

Our Babymoon

We planned and booked a babymoon back in the 2nd trimester. When we booked it, hubby and I didn't realize that it was Easter weekend, but it was one our free weekends as all others were beginning to fill up.

We decided to do a short getaway to San Antonio for 3 days. We love the Hyatt Regency on the Riverwalk. This was our 3rd time staying there. The last time we stayed there was in November for our 3rd year wedding anniversary. They went over and beyond to make sure we had a great anniversary (they had rose petasl trailed from the door to the bedroom, heart shaped rose petals on the bed, champagne and chocolates and strawberries). So, you see how awesome they are!

We drove down to San Antonio on Saturday morning. I normally don't like road trips, but I can handle this road trip (since its not over 4 hours).

Hubby and I talked and talked and sang to some old school music. Well, I will call it "our school" music. LOL

I found this cool road trip question and answer game on pinterest. I asked hubby some of the questions and he had to answer and I would in turn answer. It was really enlightening and very funny. Some of them made me tear up a bit (i.e. What are your fears and what would you today tell your 16 yr old self ). It was so freeing to actually verbalize some of these things. It also felt really good to hear his answers.

Here's a link to the game. http://cherishinghopesanddreams.blogspot.com/2012/01/30-things.html

Hubby then began asking his own questions which were even better. It was such a good drive down!!! I think we learned a lot more about each other and we have been married for 3 years and together for 10 years....so that is saying a lot.

In San Antonio, we mostly relaxed and just enjoyed each other. It was so serene and relaxing.

Here's a few pics from the trip:

Taken at The Guenther House. My favorite place to go. I go each time we are in town. BIG portions and it is SOOOOO good!

jealouse of hubby's drink, but he deserves it.

rooftop pool at the hotel

phone booths in the Menger hotel. Wow!

Eating the famous ice cream at the haunted Menger Hotel. This hotel is famous for this ice cream and it has been eaten by several presidents.

I love the views on the riverwalk. So, serene

Baby Shower in my hometown

My sisters, brother, and mom hosted a baby shower for me in my hometown. They invited family and friends. It was sort of a "surprise" shower, but they told me about it closer to the date.

It was so NICE! It was  good intimate size. We had great food and lots of fun baby shower games.

I had a great time and think every one else did too!

Hubby and I were so very blessed to get some many thoughtful gifts. Below are a few pics.
